Citizen Quartz Dive Watch (BI1041-22L)

This is actually one of the cheapest Citizen watches I could find, as it is quite a bit under $100. It a dive watch that has a Japanese quartz movement, but is not a useful dive watch as it only has 100m water resistance. So, you could go swimming with it, but certainly not diving.

It also has a small date window at 3 o’clock, which is handy. However, just be aware that you pay for what you get. Some reviewers claim the quality is not that greatest, which is no surprise for such a cheap watch.

Citizen Eco-Drive Corso (AW1236-03A)

Citizen is famous for their Eco-drive solar system, and this affordable dress watch is a great entry point for this kind of watch.

Apart from the solar-powered movement, it has a very clean and easy to read silver dial with gold hands and hour markers. It also has Roman numerals at 6 and 12 o’clock. which adds a touch of class.

It has a stainless steel case which is nicely complemented by the black alligator leather strap.

Citizen Chandler Field Watch (BM6838-09X)

The Citizen Chandler range is another one of their more affordable ones. It offers a field watch style with the typical Eco-drive solar power you get on most of their watches.

Field watches are inspired by those used in the military and aviation and have a ring of clear hour markers in Arabic numerals. There is also an inner ring of smaller numbers for the minutes.

It also has the typical onion-style crown. The final touch on this watch is the stitched, thick brown leather strap, giving it a robust feel.

Citizen Women's Eco-Drive Stainless Steel (FE6081-51A)

I don’t talk enough about women’s watches on this blog, so I thought I should include at least a few affordable options from Citizen.

This Eco-Drive dress watch has lots of features worth talking about. First and foremost is the stainless steel Milanese mesh bracelet which beautifully complements the stainless steel case.

The dial has a classy, clean look with gold hands and hour markers, and a small, unobtrusive date window at 3 o’clock.  It is all topped off by the rounded onion style crown that is in matching gold.

Citizen Eco-drive Dress Day/Date (AO9000-06B)

This relatively cheap Citizen Eco-drive has a lot going for it. The design is clean and bold, leading to a great dress watch.

The clear white dial with easy to read black markers (hours and minutes) is complemented by the 2 sub-dials in the top half. In this case, they are not for a chronograph but for reading the date and day.

The blue hands give a nice little accent to the dial as a whole. And it is completed by a stylish alligator leather strap.

Citizen Eco-drive Dress Watch (BM7251-53L)

Citizen also produces some very classy dress watches with their Eco-drive movement that are still super-affordable. This particular watch shines like a diamond in the sky with its all stainless steel look.

Of course, it’s not all steel, as the dial provides some relief with a stunning blue or black background. Depending on the model.

It has a very clean design with sharp baton hour markers and hands, and very small font for the minute train around the bezel. There is also a stylishly bordered date window at 3 o’clock to complete the picture

Citizen Women's Two-tone Dress Watch (EU2254-51A)

This two-tone stainless steel dress watch from Citizen is definitely an affordable option for work or heading out on the town.

It is super slim, so will suit ladies with finer boned wrists, but also works well for others as well.

It has a simple clean face with stunning gold hands and a gold-trimmed bezel. Ant the tapered two-tone bracelet is a great addition to an overall classy looking watch.

Citizen Eco-drive Promaster Dive Watch (NY0040-17LE)

This Citizen dive watch is not the cheapest watch on the list, but for a dive watch, it is reasonably priced.

Like most watches on this list it comes with Citizen’s Eco-dive, and it also has many other features to recommend it. For example, as a dive watch, it has 200m water resistance, so you can take it in the shower, or in the sea if you like.

Citizen have also included a date window at 4 o’clock, along with large hour markers and hands which are easy to read in any light. Like many Seiko dive watches in this niche, the crown is at 4 o’clock to help protect it from any knocks, ideal for divers!
