Casio Multi Band 6 Stations

What is Casio Multi Band 6?

Casio’s Multi Band 6 is a radio transmission system used to carry out automatic time correction on watches. It is done via a small, yet robust antenna that is located inside the watch and consumes a low amount of power.

This antenna enables radio wave reception from any of 6 stations – 2 in Japan, and 1 each in North America, UK, Europe, and China. You can see the location of the radio transmitters in the image above.

So, if you see any Casio watch with “Multi Band 6” written on it, you know that it will not-correct the current time if it can pick up a signal from one of these towers.
