Citizen is a renowned Japanese watchmaker that has settled, almost exclusively, on producing watches with their in-house solar Eco-Drive movement.

A rather unique looking dive watch from Citizen, complete with a self-winding automatic movement.
It has many worthy diver features like an impressive 300m water resistance and a unidirectional click bezel for timing your dive. However, for me, it is the style of the case that is most outstanding.
There are some hat-tips to the likes of Panerai with the Luminor, which has a rounded crown protection like this watch. The shape of the case is tapered on the edges instead of completely round, a little like the Seiko Turtle as well.
The overall color motif is blue, with a stand-out orange minute hand, presumably used for divers as well. And covering the dial is an anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
A classicly styled automatic watch from Citizen here. With a two-tone silver and rose gold case and bracelet made from 316L stainless steel.
The dial comes with a deep blue complemented by the rose gold hands, hour markers, and date window bezel.
There is a tapered crown-guard on the side of the case which is not something you see on dress watches normally. But otherwise, it is quite a standard design on the dial and case.

The dial has a stylish patterned white dial with black Roman numerals and gold hands. Citizen has snuck in a thin day/date window at 3 o’clock, for those wanting to know the current date.
For a dress watch it is right on the border at 40mm, but will suit someone with a larger wrist.
This is more or less the same as the model above, however this automatic watch comes with a patterned black dial instead. And the strap is a crocodile leather instead of stainless steel.
Another stunning offering from Citizen in the automatic watch range is this model with a tonne of value and unique features.
The open heart at 6 o’clock in the bottom half of this deep black dial is a nice peek into the inner workings of the automatic movement. Speaking of which, it comes with a 42 hr power reserve, so should keep ticking even if you don’t wear it for a day.
The hexagonal bezel is a unique addition and is reminiscent of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak shape.
The 45mm case is topped with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, which is great at keeping those scratches at bay.
And it is 100m water-resistant, so you can certainly take it in the water, but don’t go scuba diving with it!
Again, a similar Citizen automatic watch in a dress style, like many of those above. However, this one is specifically designed for the ladies with a smaller case size at 29mm.
The strap is also a little more feminine with rounded links and double links in between.
