Casio G-Shock watches are great, but they are often very large. In fact, they are known for being shock-resistance, oversized and therefore, people with slim wrists often get left behind.
That is why in this post I want to highlight the best Casio G-Shocks for small wrists, to help you find the pefect G-Shock without having to hunt through all the specs!
This classic 80s G-Shock is perfect for those with smaller wrists because it is only 45mm across the dial. It is one of the simplest looking and functioning of the G-Shock range, but it still comes with all the functions you expect from them.
It has 200m water resistance, as well as their renowned shock-resistance. It has alarms, a stopwatch and countdown timer, hourly signal, and an auto calender. And, if you like military time, you can also switch between 12 and 24 hour time with ease.
It doesn’t get much smaller, simpler and cleaner than the G-Shock DW5600E, that’s for sure!
If you like the looks of the retro Casio G-Shock above, but want something a little more modern, and perhaps like the all-black look, then you are going to love the DW-5600BB. It has a negative display, as well as a more G-Shock thick and protected feel to it.
The functions and specs are everything you would expect with 200m water resistance, and all the digital goodies G-Shock includes on all their watches. However, this watch is 4mm larger than it’s brother above at 49mm across. Just keep that in mind if your wrist is quite small.
The G-Shock DW6900-1V is more of a modern classic G-Shock than the old-school models above. So, if you want something that looks like a G-Shock of today, then this is a good place to start.
It is still great for small wrists at 45mm across, and also quite slim for a G-Shock at 15mm thick. It doesn’t skip a beat on features, and is easy to read with a large round face and some helpful sub-dials at the top.
Sure, it’s not the biggest, badest, or best G-Shock on the market, but it’s a great compromise if you want the look.
The G-Shock GWM500A-1 is a worthwhile addition to your G-Shock collection if you want a slim watch that has dual-timekeeping capabilities. With both an analog and digital display, as well as a reasonably slim 48.6mm dial, it’s no surprise that it’s a popular G-Shock mode.
It has a clean, easy to read dial, with large white hour markers, as well as G-Shock’s super-illuminator with an easy to reach button at 6 o’clock. The case is also well protected, which is no surprise for a G-Shock when you think about it.
When you are looking for smaller and slim G-Shocks, then you have to explore the Baby-G range as well. And even if you don’t like the colors I show you here, the range is huge and there are more manly models as well.
They are in many ways just the “baby” or smaller version of their bigger G-Shock brothers. Often with the exact same look and features. The only place where they sometimes lack is in slightly less water resistance. However, this model comes with 200m water resistance, so don’t you worry about that!
It also has protected bars across the crystal, so even more shock-resistance than some of the more classic G-Shocks above! And at 42.6mm, it is for the smaller wrists for sure.
Let’s also take a look at another Baby-G while we are at it. This one is more of an all-white model, so will only suit those with a particular kind of taste.
It has both digital and analog timekeeping, so kinda handy if you ask me. And all the digital functions a G-Shock owner could or would desire (unless you are after a military-style G-Shock!).
The last range of G-Shocks worth mentioning for the slim-wristed of you out there is the G-Shock Mini. They are a lot harder to come by, but if you love G-Shocks, then they are definitely a collector’s item.
The model, the G-Shock Mini GMN-550 is similar to the brother DW5600 above but is smaller. It comes in at 43.6mm across, so is slimmer still.
The G-Shock Minis only come with 100m water resistance though, so keep that in mind.
