Orient is owned by Seiko, so you know you are getting quality, and if you take a close look at the dial of this watch you can see it in spades. First, there are the Roman numerals every three hours.
The dial is clean and easy to read, as you would expect from a dress watch like the Bambino. There is a fine minute train around the outside of the dial, and a petite date window at 3 o’clock, in case you forgot what day it is.
It has a Japanese automatic movement, with 40 hours of power reserve, which is surprising for the price. But a few dollars have been saved on the crystal which is mineral.
All in all, a stunning and affordable watch with Roman numerals.
Casio is not known for their classy dress watches, but this stainless steel model with Roman numerals around the dial is worth a look.
It is super affordable and still packs a punch. It has a Japanese quartz movement, so will always be accurate.

Frederique Constant is a Swiss watchmaker that is renowned for their simple but stylish dress watches. This particular model with Romain numerals definitely shines brightly.
It features silver-tone, diamond-textured dial with pomme hands, and seconds subdial (which is quite unique). The dial is surrounded by a polished stainless steel case, with an alligator leather strap attached. And it’s all topped off by a sapphire crystal.
Although this watch is far pricier than the rest, if you are looking for the quality of a Swiss watch without paying through the nose, this is a great option.
Timex has produced an affordable watch with Roman numerals as well, it’s called the Southview. It comes in a range of colors and styles, so if you are not inclined to fall in love with this one, keep looking online.
The dial is a clean white with easy to read large hour markers and baton-style hands. There are 3 sub-dials on the watch for the day, date, and 24hr time.
Timex is also known for their bright backlight called Indiglo, which can be activated at the push of a button. So, you have no worries about telling time in the dark.
Just keep in mind that although Timex produces quality, they still have to cut corners to get this watch so cheap. That means materials: a brass case and a mineral crystal. Nothing unusual, just not a Swiss watch.
However, unlike most other affordable watchmakers, Timex is American too!
Another prolific and affordable American Brand, Bulova’s dress watch collection also features one with Roman numerals.
With a polished stainless steel case and deep black dial, it certainly makes a statement. And the silver hour markers and tapered hands certainly only add to that!
I also love the way the lugs stretch out in a unique folded shape to the crocodile leather strap. And if you look at the watch side-on you will see it comes with a flat mineral crystal, keeping the watch very low-profile.
It is a little on the large side for a dress watch at 41mm, so might suit those with larger wrists.
Skmei are a Chinese manufacturer that have an insanely large range of affordable watches.
This model with Roman numerals around the dial has a deep black color, complemented by the gold all around.
It has slim tapered hands with a small date window at 3 o’clock, which is nice and unobtrusive.
Finishing the black and gold look is the alligator faux leather strap.
And, if you don’t like the black and gold style, there are a few others in this particular model range as well.
Tank-style watches were made famous by Cartier, but have since had many homages made in their honor. This is one of the most affordable and is made by Peugot.
The dial is shaped in a curved rectangle which results in the odd shape of the Roman numerals. They have to fit in the dial, which is normally circular!
Peugot has a number of plated stainless steel options, but this one is the purest one. It has stand-out blue hands on the white dial, with black hour markers and a minute train on the inside.
The addition of an oversized scalloped-style crown is also a nice touch that makes this watch even more unique.
Anne Klein is a fashion brand that has also started dabbling in watchmaking. And this particular model is a stylish dress watch with Roman numerals.
The bracelet is a stunning two-tone gold and silver jubilee style, with a jewelry clasp and extender.
The dial is a navy blue with gold hour markers and hands, complementing the case which is also gold-colored.
It comes with a Japanese quartz movement, which is of course battery-driven and should last you around 2 years without a change.
All in all a stylish dress watch that you could wear with almost anything.
