Yes, it has the usual G Shock staples like 200m water resistance, shock resistance, and a slew of digital goodies: multi-function alarm, 1/100-second stopwatch, countdown timer, hourly time signal, auto calendar, and 12- and 24-hour formats. And every time you look at it you will be taken back to the 80s like Back to the Future!
This military G Shock is meant for those who want something truly blacked out. It is built for those who protect us with it’s rugged, waterproof and shock-resistant exterior, the hallmarks of a great G Shock.
You have, of course, water resistance to 200m, which you can take diving, swimming, and even in the mud. Casio have added a reliable backlight LED to help you see everything you need to in the dark. It also comes with a Chronograph, dual-Time-display, Light, Stopwatch, and World time, which is great for those who are deployed overseas or travel between timzones a lot.
The only downsides of this watch is that although it is a “black-out” style watch, it is super hard to read in the dark, and is still highly reflective because of the glass. However, if you just want that cool dark look, then this is the way to go.
If you want an affordable G-Shock watch at just the right price, then this watch that is way under $100 is going to impress you.
It will suit most wrists with its smaller case size (47mm) but still has that classic G-Shock look. There is an easy to reach illuminator on the bottom, that also comes with afterglow.
You also get all the standard G-Shock water-resistance (200m) and shock-resistance, as well as the digital watch functions. However, because of the price point, you won’t get a Triple Sensor or Tough Solar on this watch.
Another popular yet affordable G Shock is this black model with some stylish red accents. It has both an easy to read analog display, as well as a negative digital display at the bottom.
It has that classic G Shock style with the oversized round large base with lots of protection. Of course, Casio also give you shock resistance and 200m water resistance, as with all G Shocks, so you know it won’t let you down.
Another classic modern G Shock that comes under $100 is the GA710 with lots of bold color options as well. The very outlandish white model is shown here, but it also comes in a bright red, bright blue, black with gold accents and some more standard black models. It is also quite a large watch at 52.8mm, so this is for those who like it bold or have large wrists.

If the standard G Shock protection just doesn’t seem enough for you, then this model with a face protector on the front will give you a little more peace of mind. The style is also a little more modern with the NATO style strap that combines the G Shock durability as well.

If you are after a G Shock that is not as chunky as the classic look they usually have, then this model is the perfect alternative. It reminds me more of the Timex Ironman series, so if this look is something you like, you might want to check out what they have on offer as well. This model is also perfect for those wanting something a little smaller, as it’s only 46mm across.
